he Jennison Charitable Foundation is pleased to announce that Yandel Maldonado-Diaz, hailing from Springfield, Massachusetts, has been awarded a distinguished $9,500 academic scholarship to support his tuition at the University of Massachusetts this fall, where he intends to major in marketing.

Yandel was chosen from a competitive applicant pool due to his impressive academic accomplishments, participation in extracurricular activities, and his commitment to effecting positive change within his community.

He graduated from Libertas Academy on June 12th, 2026, with an impressive 4.37 GPA, positioning him among the top 5% of his class. Yandel was also an engaged member of both the Entrepreneurship Club and the Student Government Association at Libertas Academy.
