The Jennison Charitable Foundation is delighted to announce that Melina Fana Aquino from Worcester, Massachusetts, has been awarded her second prestigious academic scholarship. This year, Melina received a scholarship in the amount of$17,000to assist with her tuition at Worcester Polytechnical Institute, where she is pursuing a major in computer science and currently maintains a 3.77 GPA.

Melina was selected from a highly competitive pool of returning winner applicants due to her exceptional academic achievements, involvement in extracurricular activities, and her commitment to making a positive impact in her community.

Melina graduated from University Park Campus School in 2025, earning the honor of Senior Class Valedictorian. She established the Girls Tech LearnUp Club, which received sponsorship from Dell Technologies, and she also participated as a member of the Superintendent Student Advisory Council. While studying at Worcester Polytechnical Institute Melina volunteers with elementary students in the Worcester public school system.
