The Jennison Charitable Foundation is delighted to announce that Ismael Maranon from Springfield, Massachusetts, has been awarded a prestigious academic scholarship in the amount of $17,600 to support his tuition at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he is majoring in informatics.

Ismael was selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants due to his exceptional academic achievements, active involvement in extracurricular activities, and his steadfast commitment to making a positive impact in his community.

Ismael proudly graduated from Libertas Academy with an outstanding 3.8 GPA, having begun ninth grade at just twelve years old! A child prodigy, he skipped both 1st and 8th grades. During his time there, he held the position of Vice President of the Art Club, served as treasurer of the student government, and in his senior year, he undertook five advanced placement courses along with two dual enrollment courses at Elms College.
