The Jennison Charitable Foundation is thrilled to announce that Chance Hicks, from Hendersonville, North Carolina, has received his second academic scholarship from our foundation. This award amounts to $2,500 and will assist with his tuition at the University of North Carolina Charlotte this fall, where he is majoring in Computer Science and maintains a GPA of 3.58.

Chance was selected from a highly competitive pool of return winner applicants due to his exceptional academic achievements, active involvement in extracurricular activities, and his steadfast commitment to making a positive impact in his community.

Chance graduated from Hendersonville High School in 2025, where he held the position of captain on the track team, was recognized as an NC Scholar, and was a proud member of the National Honor Society.
