The Jennison Charitable Foundation is delighted to announce that Barbara Patraca Valenzuela, from Beech Island, South Carolina, has been awarded a prestigious $12,285 academic scholarship to support her tuition at Jacksonville University this fall, where she plans to major in International Business.

Barbara was selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants due to her exceptional academic achievements, active involvement in extracurricular activities, and her steadfast commitment to making a positive impact in her community.

Barbara celebrated her graduation from Midland Valley High School on May 30th, achieving an impressive 4.94 GPA. She secured first place in the Knights of Columbus Essay Competition and serves as an altar server at the Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Additionally, during her high school tenure, she earned an Associate Degree in Arts and Sciences.
