The Jennison Charitable Foundation is pleased to announce that Abel Worssa from Sherman, Texas, has been awarded a prestigious academic scholarship of $28,000 to support his tuition at the University of Texas at Dallas this fall, where he intends to major in accounting.

Abel was chosen from a highly competitive applicant pool due to his remarkable academic accomplishments, active participation in extracurricular activities, and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact within his community.

He graduated from Sherman High School on May 22 with an impressive GPA of 3.75. During his high school tenure, Abel was an active member of DECA, a global nonprofit organization that equips high school and college students for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. He also achieved regional qualification in accounting at the University Interscholastic League (UIL).
